Heard in Fredriksfors Nov 12 - 16 - "A different listening experience"

November 12^th. offered “a different listening experience". At 00 1400 Zorilla de San Martin was already heard unexpectedly well, other southern signals also on e.g. 870, 920,930,950,970, 1070, 1130,1230, 1270. But not long later the signals were blown away, as was most of the interference. The band was almost empty and only a little "rattling". At first I thought the antenna had suddenly broken, before I realized that it was then that there was a solar storm with almost K9. The rest of the night it was barely possible to hear even the strongest Europeans!.

13^th. the Europeans were back almost as usual, so was much of the interference. Brazil on 940 was the only transatlantic that made it all the way here. Some far too weak carriers could also be glimpsed.

14^th. significantly more stations were heard. At first with La Plata and someone from Brazil, but after 03 the place started to have some more from Brazil but also Colombia. At 05 several strong Colombians (despite 255-degree antenna) on high frequencies but also some more common Peruvians (mainly from Lima)..

15^th. I assumed that the disturbance had passed and switched to 285 degrees. The only thing I heard was a very strong noise and crackling, which the very few stations I could “see” couldn´t break through. A little less interference towards the morning but still no signals.

16^th. and quite similar to the day before, possibly a little less noise. This night Harbour Light 1400 could also be heard off and on and Ay 07 R Buenos Aires 1350 also came with a fairly strong signal..
