On April 6th. I thought the strong solar interference had passed and switched to the 285-degree antenna. It was a bad decision. Only a few signals that could be detected all night, nothing that shouldn't have been significantly better on 255 degrees. Hardly any carriers that shouldn't have been Brazil or La Plata.
7th. slightly better signals on part of La Plata (Argentina mainly) on low frequencies. Still very bad from "northern" areas. Ideal 1190 possibly broke the pattern of going decently.
8th. another completely unsuccessful night. Not until 02.30 did some signals start to appear, then primarily the usual ones from Colombia on higher frequencies. At 03.30 quite a few stations from Colombia and Puerto Rico but also Bahamas 1540, Monumental 1510 and Carravis 1570 for example. But a lot of fading and distorted signals. At 04 there was only the occasional Puerto Ricans left. Nothing whatsoever.
