March 31st. Is it the protons' fault?

I changed the antenna to 285 degrees. Either the conditions were absolutely terrible for it, or it is faulty... If it hadn't been for some strong Europeans, I would have thought it was not plugged in. WEGA 1350 was actually on at 01 and at 02 a "rattling" signal could be detected, probably from Monumental 1510. From just before 03, however, it would hardly have mattered if anything had been heard, because then there was far too much noise across the entire band...

April 1st. and with a good dose of irony it can be stated that the conditions were much better this night. At 02 what was probably Dif. Acreana 1400. Around 0230 then some Peruvians that RFK tipped off about, but only on high frequencies.

2nd. and even a little better, at least more... Now there were quite a few carriers already 23 and some West Indies also with weak sound. 01 glimpsed Ideal 1130 and 02 really good signal on Maria 1220, but also some other more common ones could be perceived.

3rd. and nothing for the log. At 00 Caribbean Lighthouse started going well on 1160, Brazil on 610 and 740. And before 01 there were signals from Paraguay on 920 and 780, Argentina on 750 and 870 where Puerto Rico took over. PR also on 580, 940, 1070,1120, 1230, 1280, 1320, 1350, 1480 and 1520 until 02 when the signals got worse.

4th. worse again. Some regular Colombians at 01 – 02 but far too weak or only with a “known” carrier
