From around 1500 UTC / 1700 CET/SNT we will be broadcasting live from the DX Parliament at Dellenbaden, Delsbo. These broadcasts will be repeated in our  nighttime music mix.

Radio Dellen International is on the air - as you may have noticed

Hello everybody out there in radioland,
It took a while but last night we finally got things working as they should and what you have been hearing on 5895 kHz during the night and morning is an automated music stream coming from Radio Dellen International. Although there have been no station IDs it seems like many of you have realized that it is really us. At the moment it's a dull an rainy day here in Delsbo and everybody is busy with the DX Parliament. Some of you have asked "will there be no real programmes"? Yes, there will. But the thing is that no fixed schedule of "real" programmes exists yet as this event is not only about broadcasting and at the time of writing everybody is busy listening to various lectures but we will certainly get back later today to tell you about what's happening at the DX Parliament. Meanwhile, you can always enjoy the music. You are welcome to mail us at info @ rock.x.se and tell us how you are receiving our signal. Sofar we have received reports from most of Sweden plus Norway and Finland. Is anybody listening in Holland/Belgium by any chance? We will get back with some programming in Dutch during the day.

As from 0925 UTC /GMT - 1125 CET/SNT we are now broadcasting on 6065 kHz.

Radio Dellen International update

We have not yet completed the installations fully and will continue tomorrow morning. So we expect to be on the air around noon on Friday, June 1. Frequencies are 5895 and 6065 kHz.

Radio Dellen International soon on the air!

A message from the Radio Enthusiasts.... We are not only listening, we are broadcasting, too! This weekend we at Delsbo Radioklubb will be broadcasting under the name of Radio Dellen International from Delsbo in Sweden. The frequencies used will be 5895 and 6065 kHz. The latter frequency was used by Radio Sweden for many years until their sad demise so you could say we are carrying on an old Swedish tradition.

We will start installing the equipment today Thursday, May 31 (btw myself and Clint Eastwood are celebrating our birthday today - another year has come to us....). We will start working at 1600 UTC (1800 CET/SNT) and it will probably take a few hours to get everything together. But we expect to go on the air with our  first test transmission tonight. We will update this blog before we go on the air.

We are naturally very interested in knowing how our signal is penetrating into your area and you are welcome to mail us at info @ rock.x.se during the tests. A QSL card will be available and your reception reports plus some form of return postage can be sent to:

Heard in Fredriksfors April 9th. - far from good

Another night in Fredriksfors not quite bad, but far from good.

In the middle of the night there were signals from La Plata but unstable and mostly not readable for more than some 30 seconds or a minute at times. Later to dawn signals propagated mainly from Venezuela and Puerto Rico, and for a short while some of the most common Peruvians. But oddly enough nothing from Colombia - there might have been one (unid religious) on 1580...

1390 9.4 0259 WISA Isabella PR. Överraskade med att ha eget id ”W-I-S-A 13-90 AM wisa”. Inget om Noti Luz som man brukat samsända med. Nu var det smöriga ballader som gällde. PR också hyggligt WBMJ 1190, WCMN 1280, WNEL 1430J och WVOZ 1520. JE

740 9.4 0406 ZYH448 Radio Sociedad da Bahia Salvador var den sista TA-signalen på bandet med läsbar styrka. Religiöst förstås. JE

870 9.4 0230 LRA1 Radio Nacional Argentina Buenos Aires gick ganska stabilt när de flesta andra signaler bara var hörbar sekunder eller maximalt någon minut i stöten. JE

920 9.4 0200 ZP1 Radio Nacional del Paraguay Asunción kom upp riktigt hyggligt vid heltimmen. Troligen var det den som hade fotboll tidigare. Men också minst en brasse (Nove Tempo?) och en till spansktalande hördes här. JE

930 9.4 0129 CX20 Radio Monte Carlo Montevideo. Eftersom ycket tycktes handla om Argentina Lyssnade HK för säkerhets skull, men bekräftar att det var Uruguay. JE

950 9.4 0130 Radio 9 Buenos Aires ganska rockig musik för att var LA. JE

1400 9.4 0320 OBX4W Radio Calao Lima ”la cabina deportiva latinoamericano”. I en kort ”öppning” mot Peru var det Callao, Bethel, Santa Rosa och (dåligt) Nueva Q som var de enda inslagen. JE
